Live education scales. We spent 12 years proving it. Now we are opening an agentic campus to the world.

There is a quiet consensus in online education: live does not scale. Async catalogs do. Video libraries do. Self paced modules do. Live cohorts are treated like a luxury format, great for a boutique instructor with a mailing list, impossible for a company that wants to grow.

We disagree. And today we are putting that disagreement to work outside Latin America, with a second bet on top of the first: the future of education is agentic.

Coderhouse is live in English. We are opening our model to the global market, starting with the U.S., with two live cohort programs: AI Engineering and Data Analytics. Same format that trained hundreds of thousands of people across LatAm. New language, new instructors, same core. And around that live room, a campus of agents that help you actually reach your goal.

This is not a product changelog. It is a thesis.

The problem with another course

Most people do not fail at learning because the content is bad. They fail because nothing holds them accountable when life gets loud, and because the content is the same for everyone.

You buy a course. You watch the first three lessons. You open a tab for later. Later never comes. The industry optimized for enrollment, not for finishing. Self paced products ask a human to behave like a content player.

Live flips part of that equation. A cohort has a start date. An instructor who knows your name. Peers who show up the same night you do. A project with a deadline that is not optional. You do not need more content. You need a room.

But a room alone is not enough anymore. Between classes, people still get stuck. They need the next explanation in their words, at their level, for their goal. They need help preparing for a job interview on Tuesday. They need someone (or something) watching the market while they study. That is where agents come in.

Education is becoming a mix: humans, community, and agents

We believe the next chapter of education is not human or AI. It is both, on purpose.

Humans give judgment, craft, and the pressure of a real class.
Community gives belonging and accountability. You do not finish alone.
Agents sit next to you and push toward the outcome you said you wanted.

That mix is the product. Live classes stay at the center. Agents do not replace the instructor. They make sure the work between sessions actually happens, personalized to you.

Today that already looks concrete inside our campus:

  • Ticher, a learning companion that knows your course, helps you understand concepts with citations to the material, and supports you on assignments without doing the work for you.

  • Nexa, focused on employability: matching opportunities, practice, interview prep, and the path from skills to a real shot at a job.

  • Support that can hand off with context, so you are not restarting your story every time you ask for help.

And the near future is clearer still. An agent should be able to generate the content you need at the exact moment you need it: 100% personalized to your goal and to what you already know. Not a generic module 7 for everyone. The next piece for you. Another agent should help you find roles that fit, apply on your behalf where it makes sense, and get you ready for the interview. Learning and getting hired stop being two separate products. They become one loop.

That is what we mean by agentic education. Agents that do not just chat. Agents that help you get somewhere.

What we actually built

Coderhouse did not start as a content library. It started as a room we wished existed.

I wanted to build in tech and did not know how to code. I enrolled in a local institute in Argentina, and the experience left me cold. So we rented a coworking room in Palermo with $5,000 of savings and ran a web development course for six people. We put every peso back into the next cohort. For years we had no building of our own, just rented rooms, then more cities, then Chile, Uruguay, Peru.

In 2019 we went fully online. When the pandemic hit, we were already there. That bet turned us into the largest live online learning platform in Latin America. We entered Y Combinator in 2021 as a profitable company. More than 500,000 people have gone through our programs.

The through line never changed: live classes, real instructors, cohort pressure, projects that ship. Not recorded lectures dressed up as a community. Live means live.

Along the way we industrialized what usually stays artisanal: curriculum ops, instructor quality, campus software, support. So a live cohort is not a one off event. It is a system. Live without operations does not scale. Live with operations does. Agents are the next layer of that system: software that scales personal attention the way ops scaled live cohorts.

Why the U.S., and why now

The English speaking market is full of two extremes.

On one side: massive async catalogs. Cheap, endless, easy to abandon.

On the other: premium live cohorts that often cost what a month of rent costs. Excellent for some, out of reach for most.

What is missing is the middle: serious live instruction at a price you can decide on without a manager's approval. Roughly the $300 to $600 range. Coursera, but live. Quality instruction, community, real projects, without the boutique markup. And now, agents that keep you moving toward a concrete outcome.

We are starting with two programs that match how the market is actually hiring:

  • AI Engineering / Building with AI, for developers and technical professionals who are done treating chat like a search bar and want to ship systems, agents, and automations with people who are doing it this week.

  • Data Analytics Live, for career switchers and operators who need accountability, a portfolio, and a path that does not evaporate after lesson four.

AI skills demand is rising faster than most companies are willing to train for. That gap does not get closed by another bookmark. It gets closed by practice under pressure, with an instructor in the room, and agents that personalize what happens between classes and after the certificate.

What global means for us

Global does not mean we abandoned Latin America. It means the model we stress tested there (live cohorts as the product, not the add on) is ready for English. And it means the campus we are shipping is built for an agentic future from day one in this new market.

A good live class still beats a perfect AI tutor alone. A community still beats studying in silence. Agents make both of those things compound: the right practice at the right time, job search that does not start the week after you graduate, interview prep when the interview is actually booked.

The combination is what we are shipping.

What we are not claiming

We are not claiming we have solved education. We are not promising a job in twelve weeks. We are not pretending async is worthless. It is great for reference and for people who already have the discipline.

We are claiming something narrower and harder. Live cohort education can be an operating system, not a craft fair. And that operating system is becoming agentic: humans for craft and accountability, community for belonging, agents for personalization and follow through toward your goal.

We spent twelve years building the live system in Spanish. Now we are running it in English, with agents in the loop.

If you have been collecting courses you never finish, this is the opposite of that pile. A room, a cohort, and agents that help you get where you said you were going.

What is live now

  • English live cohorts for AI Engineering and Data Analytics

  • Instructor led sessions, projects, and a cohort that shows up with you

  • Agents on campus (Ticher, Nexa, and more) that help you learn and move toward work

  • Entry pricing designed for an individual decision, not an HR process
